The memorial service for Stella Ann Epp will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010, in Enid Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. She passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at Cherokee Manor in Cherokee, Okla. Stella was born Sept. 3, 1941, to Elvin and Geneva (Williams) Wheeler in Enid, Okla
She graduated from Enid High School in 1960 and worked at Enid Memorial Hospital for several years as a nurse aide. She was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church. On Aug. 26, 1969, Stella married David Epp.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David; brother, Bernie; and one grandchild. Stella is survived by two sons, Danny of Houston, Texas, and David of Needles, Calif.; three grandsons, Paul, Anthony and Jeffry; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mari Doty and husband Ron of Nash and Judy Haight and husband Pete of Covington; a very special niece, Jamie Bender, of Burlington; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
