Funeral services for Wilbur N. Eckroth, 63, who died in a local hospital Wednesday afternoon, will be at 10 AM Saturday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel.

The Rev. Bill Crowell will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery with full military honors provided by Vance Air Force Base.

Eckroth was born December 30, 1920, in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. He enlisted in the Army but retired from the U. S. Air Force as a master sergeant in 1958.

He married the former Marie C. Faulkner in Oklahoma City February 13, 1952. The couple established their home in Enid in 1975.

Eckroth was preceded in death by a son.

Survivors include his wife Marie, of the home; one son, Col. James Faulkner, Biloxi, Mississippi; three daughters, Mrs. Steven (Sheryl) Baisden, Dallas, Texas, Sharon Eckroth, Fairbanks, Alaska, and Mrs. Kelly (Sherry) Goodwin, of Enid; and five grandchildren.

Memorial fund contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, heart or diabetes division. The funeral home will serve as custodian.
