The funeral services celebrating the life of Cherie E. Dirham, 76, of Enid, will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday June 6, 2018 in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Frisbee Officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Enid Cemetery.
She was born to Albert and Evelyn Chatagnier Barnett February 14, 1942 in Seminole Ok. She was raised and educated in Seminole until the age of 13, when she moved with her family to Georgia for a brief time, before moving to Enid. In 1962, she married Robert L. Dirham in Enid. They lived in Cherokee and Loyal. She then moved to Alabama before returning to Enid 1977. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was an avid Elvis fan, scrapbooker and C.B. radio handler where she was better known by her name handle "Little Britches". She was also a fanatic wrestling enthusiast.
She is survived by her son, Michael Dirham of Enid; daughters, Janice Winterbank-Choate and husband Michael of Enid, Christina Dirham of Enid and Shana Arnold and husband Andrew of Wheatherford; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Finity of Huston TX, Charlene Lovell of Oklahoma City, Ok, and ,brother, Joe Hurley of Oklahoma City, Ok.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother.
Memorials may be made in her name to Hospice Circle of Love, with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
