The funeral for Glenn O. Daykin, 54, who died at his home late Sunday evening of an apparent heart attack, will be at 2 PM Thursday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Enid Cemetery.
Daykin was born August 9, 1932, on a farm northwest of Enid, the son of Glenn O. and Blanche Moore Daykin. After graduating from Hillsdale High School he attended Enid Business College and was employed in 1952 at Frank's Machine Company and later by Speedstar AMCA International as an inventory control analyst.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Daykin is survived by a brother, Jere W. Daykin and a niece, Jerilynn S. Daykin, both of Irving, Texas.
