Funeral services for Sandra Joyce Brown Coup, 71, Enid, will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Noon in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Pastor Steve McClaren officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Enid Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Sandy, as her friends called her, was born in Enid on May 28, 1944, the daughter of Clarence and Lillie Mae Baggett and achieved her heavenly invitation to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in Enid. She attended the Enid School System, graduating from Enid High School with the class of 1964. She worked for various places in Enid. Sandy married Richard E. Brown on July 13, 1963 in Enid. To this union, a daughter, the late, Joyce Lynn Brown was born.
Sandy had an avid love of painting and writing poems, needle work and everything about cats.
On September 6, 2003,, Sandy and Clarence “Jack” Coup were married at Grace Bible Church in Enid. They made their home in Enid and enjoyed singing country and gospel (Karaoke) at nursing homes in the Enid Community.
Sandy leaves behind her husband, Clarence “Jack” Coup of the residence; stepsons Jackie Coup of Florida, John Coup of Florida, Jeff (Pam) Coup of Enid; Jimmie (Kathy) Coup of Enid; ten step-grandchildren, several step-great grandchildren, many friends including special friends, Nelda, Mable, and Carolyn whom she loved and “Sissy”,her cat, whom Sandy loved to have around.
Sandy was preceded in passing by her parents, husband Richard, daughter, Joyce, and step-daughter, Joyce Anderson.
The family has selected, Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sandy’s memory to Grace Bible Church in Enid. Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.

Memorial services for Jack Coup, 82, Enid, will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 2:30 pm at Grace Bible Church with Pastor Steve McClaren officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Enid Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Jack was born December 7, 1933 at Dacoma, Oklahoma, the son of Asa and Pansy Pettay Coup, Step-father Willie “Bill” Geisler and passed away February 6, 2016 in Enid. He had two brothers, Robert Eugene, and Arthur Wesley. Jack lived in Perryton & Shamrock Texas before moving to Elk City, Oklahoma, then moved to Helena, Oklahoma in 1939. He lost his Maternal father and brother in house fire December 22, 1941. Jack graduated from Lambert High School. In 1952, Jack moved to Enid, Oklahoma and married Juanita Leslie in 1953. To this union five children were born; Jack (Cindy) Coup, John Coup both of Florida, Joyce (Billy) Anderson of Waukomis, Oklahoma, Jeff (Pam) and Jim (Kathy) both of Enid, Oklahoma. Jack worked for Knox Industries and several other gas stations also the Rock Island Rail Road for 6 years. He got a permanent job at Vance Air Force Base in 1965 where he retired in 1998 after 33 years of service as jet engine mechanic.
On September 6, 2003, Jack and Sandra Joyce Brown were married. Jack worked with her former husband for 33 years at Vance. He and Sandy took up singing and entertained at retirement and nursing homes for the past several years. They were members of Grace Bible Church.
Jack leaves behind his four sons; eleven grandchildren, Christopher, Kassie, Kim, Michael, Rebecca, Eric, Juanita, Donnie, Chasity, Sarah and Shelby; and several great-grandchildren.
Jack was preceded in passing by his parents, step-father, two brothers, wife, and one daughter.
Jack had many friends and special friends close to him in his life. They know who they are but the family of Tom & Ellen Willson, Mark & Melanie, and Trish & Curtis, also cousin Nancy Lloyd of Texas were all life long friends. Jack enjoyed everything about racing (1/4 mile). He, Tom and Mark built, worked on and spent weekends at the drag strip enjoying their sport/hobby.
Jack always told the story of how he got the nickname, “Jack”. He was stubborn as a little kid, a friend of the family had an old mule named Jack that was stubborn also, so he was given the name “Jack” after the mule.
