The memorial service for Ken Cook, 59-year-old Waukomis resident, will be 4 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2008, in the Henninger -Hinson Funeral Home Chapel.

He was born September 19, 1949, to Millie Mae (Arnold) Cook and Kenneth Allen Cook. He passed from this world September 22, 2008, at his home .

He had owned his own business since the age of 18. He began early in life doing sheetrock with his brother, Bobby Joe. He continued his life-long business, later becoming a drywall and texture commercial businessman. (Ken Cook Drywall). He loved to fish and listen to music. He had two ferrets which were his companions. At the end of a long business day, they were his life at home .

He is survived by his daughter, Kerry Cook of Enid; four grandchildren, Cheyenne and Conner Cook of Enid and Randy and Anna Cook of Colorado; and his mother, Millie Mae Arnold of Enid.

He was preceded in death by his son, Roger Cook, his father, Kenneth Cook and his brother, Bobby Joe Cook. "I reached out to you because I needed you, I will always remember you because you needed me." I will see you on the other side pops, from sis.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in his name be made to the funeral home .
