The funeral for Vera Clark, age 72, will be at 10:00 AM Monday, March 19, 2012, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dan Luskey and Mike Luskey officiating. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery.

Vera was born to Glenn and Vera (Bower) Clark on May 6, 1939, in Kansas City, Missouri, and passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 in Oklahoma City.

Vera married Felix Stanley on July 13, 1957, in Kansas City. They moved to Enid in 1963, where she was a phone operator for Southwestern Bell and AT & T. Vera worked at Lucent

Technologies until her retirement in 1996. She was active in Scouts. Vera enjoyed making ceramics and crocheting, and especially loved her doll collections.

Vera is survived by two daughters, Kathy Emery and husband Larry of Oklahoma City, and Karla Jo Simpson and husband Glen of Covington; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four brothers, Glenn, Darrell, Blake and Curtis Clark; four sisters, Wanda McNett, Glenda Koy, Velda Morrison, and Vonda Berg.

She was preceded in death by husband Felix, son Kenneth Stanley, sisters Brenda and Rhonda Clark, and brother Walter Clark.

Memorials are to Relay for Life.
