August 30, 1945 - January 10, 2019

The funeral service for Winifred "Wynne" Arlene (Ring) Chodrick will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Waukomis Christian Church with Rev. Dave Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Enid Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Family visitation will be held Friday, January 18, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Winifred was born August 30, 1945, in Fairview, Oklahoma, to Howard and Mildred Ring. She passed away January 10, 2019. She attended school in Cleo Springs, Class of 1963, and was a graduate of Enid Business College.

On May 7, 1966, she married the love of her life, Vernon. They shared 52 years together and had two daughters, Shelly and Marla. Wynne devoted her life to her family and was involved in PTA, a softball mom, a Campfire leader, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a dedicated daughter to her parents and enjoyed taking them on vacations.

She worked at Champlin Refinery, was a stay-at-home mom and ran an in-home day care for numerous years. She was a secretary for her husband's plumbing company. She worked at Kmart and retired from GEFCO.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Mildred Ring; her brother, Carl Ring; her father in-law and mother-in-law, Vernon Sr. and Lucy Chodrick.

She is survived by her husband, Vernon; daughters, Shelly Hager and husband Jim, Marla Fuxa and husband Ryan, all of Enid; 2 brothers, Barry Ring of Cleo Springs and Eddie Ring of Pogosa Springs; 2 sisters-in-law, Merry Leggett of Georgia and Terry Bigham of Texas; 6 grandchildren, Michael Hart, Eli Hager and wife Jamie, Jill Linn and husband Rees, AJ (Ace) Hager, Tucker Fuxa, Wyatt; and 3 great-grandchildren, Megan Hart, Bryson Hart, and Talyn Hager.

Memorials can be made to Waukomis Christian Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds. Condolences may be made and services viewed online at www.ladusauevans.com.
