Beatrice G. Rembert -Bode, 81, of Mulhall, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, in Perry. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Enid Cemetery Chapel with Bill Smith officiating. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Aug. 9, 1926, in Wetumka, to Gus Doshier and Arkie (Ricketts) Doshier. She married Harry Lee Rembert in 1944. They had three children, Harold "Skip" Rembert , Harvey Rembert and Lashelle Rembert . He preceded her in death in 1979.
She married Howard Bode in 2002 and moved from Enid to the country in Mulhall. She fell in love with the Gelbvieh cattle, wanting to keep every calf born. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up to have their own children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Harry Rembert and one son, Harvey Rembert .
She is survived by her husband, Howard Bode, of Mulhall; one son, Harold "Skip" Rembert and his wife, Jan, of San Angelo, Texas; one daughter, Lashelle Kelley of Enid; four grandsons, David Rembert and his wife, Robyn, of Texas, Blandon Rembert of Texas, Doug Kelley of Oklahoma and Mike Kelley of Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Rashelle Kelley of Oklahoma and four great-grandchildren, Lexy Kelley, Blake Kelley, Jasmine Kelley and Mashelle Seek, all of Oklahoma. She is also survived by one stepson, Dusty Bode and his wife, Kathy, of Mulhall; one step-granddaughter, Katy Schoepflin and her husband, Tye, of Mulhall and one step-great-grandson, Ethan Schoepflin of Mulhall.
