Funeral services for Glenn R. Bishop, 78, 1316 W. Pine, will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Doctor Robert J. Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Enid Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.

He died Monday in an Okeene hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born in Whiteville, Missouri, he came to Enid at an early age with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bishop, who were pioneer farmers and residents of Enid. He attended Enid schools.

An employee of the Eason Oil Company, he later was a driver for the Enid Bus Company for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Myrtle; one daughter, Mrs. Miller, Blackwell; a son, Glenn R. Bishop of Enid; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Forsee of Las Vegas, New Mexico, and Mrs. Irene Williamson of Fulton, Missouri; and five grandchildren.
