The memorial service for Vickie Lynn Beasley, 68-year-old Enid resident, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2019 in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Jodi Palmer and Joelynn Karben LSA of the Baha'is Community will officiate. Burial of cremains will follow in Enid Cemetery.
Vickie was born October 20, 1950 to Carroll and Lola (Chaloupek) Beasley in Enid and died Sunday, March 24, 2019 in her home in Enid. She attended local schools and graduated from Enid High with the class of 1969. She then attended O.T. Autry.
Vickie worked for several years as a caregiver at a local day-care. She later worked at the Hendrie House for Many years. In later years she was a caregiver to both of her aging parents.
She was a member of the Enid Baha'is Community for several years. She loved being outdoors hunting, hiking, camping, or fishing. She loved to travel as well and was an avid reader.
She is survived by her sister Karen Diener and husband Dennis of Stillwater; her brother Jim Beasley and wife Cheryl of Enid, and their daughter Cydi, also of Enid; nephews Brian and wife Amy, and their sons Bryson and Luke, of Tulsa, Dustin and son Drake of Carrollton, TX, D.C. Beasley of Tulsa and James and Kurtis Beasley both of Enid; nieces Kristi McCutcheon of Oklahoma City, Linda Beasley of Yukon, and Jessica Beasley of Amarillo, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother David Beasley, and a niece Leslie Beasley.
Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson to either the Enid SPCA or if a member of the Baha'is community, to that church.
