Funeral services for Mark Owen Bamburg, 59, Enid resident, will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Pastor Lester L. Lowry, officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Enid Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Mark was born on May 3, 1961 in Enid, Oklahoma, the son of Orbie and Bobbie Bamburg, and passed away on May 28, 2020 in Enid due to complications from a long illness. Mark worked as a roughneck in his 20’s and 30’s and worked on fishing boats a few years until he suffered partial paralysis from an injury while playing softball. Mark was a wonderful giving person. He always had a smile on his face, a twinkle in his eye, and a quick joke on his lips. Mark was loved and admired by everyone that knew him. He was generous to a fault, and helped anyone that needed it in anyway he could. He would do without so they could have. Mark will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. There will never be another like him. His trials and tribulations are over, his pain and suffering are gone. Rest in peace our brother and friend. You are paid in full.
Survivors include one daughter, Deanna K. Bamburg of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; two sisters, Cinda Haynie and Vandy Jackson, both of Enid; step-brother, Tracy Conway and numerous nieces and nephews whom all love and miss him dearly. Mark was preceded in passing by his parents, brothers, Robert Hainie, Gerald R. Bamburg and Paul Bamburg (Snook). Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com
