A lifelong Enid resident, F. L. (Bunny) Arvin, 63, 810 W. State, died early Sunday morning in a local hospital following a long period of failing health.
He attended Enid schools and was graduated from Enid high with the class of 1925. He attended Phillips University until 1925 and then entered the University of Oklahoma Law School. Admitted to the Bar in 1931, he opened his office here in 1932, closing it and entering the Army July 29, 1942. He served overseas and was discharged September 13, 1945. He then reopened his law office and practiced until poor health forced his retirement in 1955.
He and Mrs. Vena Roach were married in 1953. He was an active member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Vena, of the home; a brother, Tom, Baltimore, Maryland; and an uncle, Robert E. Williams, and a cousin, Mrs. Edward Hillery, both of Enid.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Tuesday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jack Hendry officiating. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery.
All attorneys attending will serve as honorary pallbearers.
