Funeral services for Mrs. K. C. (Mary Jane) Arnold, 83, who died early Tuesday in a local hospital following a brief illness, will be at 10 AM Thursday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel.
Rev. Will Lane of the Davis Park Christian Church will officiate and burial will be in the Enid Cemetery.
Mrs. Arnold was born July 13, 1887, in Princeton, Missouri, where she grew up and attended school. She and C. C. Arnold were married here in 1906 and established a home here.
Mrs. Arnold had lived at 730 E. Ash since 1910.
She was a member of the Davis Park Christian Church, the Rebekah Lodge of Enid and the Auxiliary of the Spanish-American War Veterans.
Survivors include two sons, Frank Arnold and R. G. (Dick) Arnold, both of Enid; three daughters, Mrs. William (Mabel) Barry, Arlington, Virginia, Mrs. Henry (Ruth) Wood of Pharr, Texas, Mrs. Troy (Mary) Gilliand of Irving, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. Joe Waddell, Harworden, Iowa, Mrs. Roy Meinecke, Conisville, Missouri, Mrs. James Sipe, Luray, Missouri, Mrs. George Armstrong, Iowa; 19 grandchildren and 23 great – grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1945; a son, three sisters.
