Funeral for Barbara Anderson, 87, of Clinton, Md., formerly of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2015, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery.
Barbara was born to John and Winifred (Brown) Mack Oct. 3, 1927, in Bronx, N.Y., and passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015, in Clinton, Md.
Barbara graduated from Morris High School in Bronx.
On August 26, 1961, she married Floyd Anderson in Chicago. They moved to Enid in 1972, where Barbara worked as a meter maid for Enid Police Department.
She enjoyed listening to jazz, exercising, and aerobics.
Her hobbies were paper mache crafts. Barbara was a member of “From the Heart Ministries.”
Barbara is survived by three sons, Mark and Novella Anderson of Clinton, Md., David and Melissa Anderson of Los Angeles, Calif., and Rudy and Terri Anderson of Chicago, Ill.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd; son, William; and brother, Sonny.
