Julius Ahl died in Wichita Monday, March 3, 1924 at the age of 58 years. He was a native of Germany, coming to this country at the age of 11. He came to Enid in 1903 and was married to Mrs. Bertha Rohl of South Dakota, and was the father of two boys and three girls who survive him.
He leaves his wife, three daughters and two sons, Mrs. Ed Cobb of Enid, Mrs. W. H. Durham of Enid, Mrs. R. B. Nichols of Lampoe, California, William Ahl of Battle Creek, Michigan, and George Ahl of Ranger, Texas.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Dunlavyy – Hamer funeral parlors at 2 o'clock. Rev. A. G. Smith of the Central Christian Church had charge. The Odd Fellows had charge of services at the grave.
