August 4, 1940 - July 20, 2022
On Wednesday, July 20, 2022, Jesus took Margie's hand from Larry's and placed it in His own and walked off for her first day in Heaven.
Marjorie was born August 4, 1940 in Cherokee, OK to Robert and Virginia (Jantz) Mercer. She was raised in Enid and graduated from Enid High School in 1958. She married Larry Watson on February 24, 1962 at the El Torro Marine Base, Santa Anna, CA. After Larry was discharged from service, they moved to Enid. She worked at Beneficial Financial Co for 5 years and the Land Commission. They moved to Ponca City in 1994. Marge was co-owner and operator of LAM Communications for over 25 years. She was a former member of Davis Park Church where she sang in the choir. There she was a member of Eastern Heights Christian Church in Ponca City.
She loved and is survived by her husband Larry; her two children, Larry and wife Rene' Watson of Guymon, OK, and Kristin and husband Adam Knapp of Edmond, OK; her grandchildren Jonathan, Nathaniel and wife Cynthia, and Natalie Watson and Mackenna and Emma Knapp, her great grandson Miles Watson and two sisters, Roberta Mazarek and Barbara Brown with all of her heart and soul. Even more, she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Marge's impact on the people around her was profound. People she met, even for a short time, could see the peace and love within her, and God blessed everyone she touched.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Eddie Mercer.
