Henry Herman Theilen
February 27, 1936 - November 14, 2023
Funeral service for Henry Theilen, 87, will be Monday, November 20, 2023 at 10:00 am in Enid First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Jarrod Cloud officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation with the family will be Sunday afternoon from 4:00 to 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
Henry was born February 27, 1936 in Enid to Henry "Hank" and Zeda (Benkendorf) Theilen and passed away November 14, 2023 in Enid.
He grew up in Lahoma and graduated from Lahoma High School. Henry then went to Oklahoma A&M College. Following college, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. Following his discharge, Henry returned to Enid and married Karen Payne. They made their home on the farm near Lahoma and later Enid. He was active as a leader for Royal Rangers at Central Assembly of God Church for over 30 years. Henry was a member of Enid First Assembly of God Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Howard and Harvey.
Henry is survived by his wife, Karen; children and their spouses, Tammy (James) Mercer, Kevin (Karla) Theilen, Ernie (Melinda) Theilen, KaRene Theilen, Angie (Keith) Riggs; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; brother, Hershal Theilen; nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to Enid First Assembly of God-Peru Missions.
