Jim Teague
March 1, 1953 - January 16, 2024

The services celebrating and honoring the life of Jim Teague, 70, of Enid will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday January 23, 2024, in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Steve Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.

Jim was born March 1, 1953, to Frankie Lee and Veronica Rose McCoy Teague in Sedan, Kansas and passed from this life January 16, 2024, in Enid, Oklahoma.

He was raised and educated in Sedan Kansas. He began his career driving an 18-wheeler for Sedan Floral. He then founded Jim Teague and Sons Construction Company. He married Jeanette Fontes July 4, 2001, in Chautauqua, Kansas; where the couple made their home. He would do absolutely anything to better provide for his family and was always working with either his company or on cars out of his garage until his retirement in 2010. In 2013 he moved to Bartlesville to be near family and later moved to Enid in 2021 to again be near family. He enjoyed arrowhead hunting, fishing, building four-wheelers, mopeds, and anything else that his children wanted. He was a hardworking, loving, and wonderful family man.

He is survived by his wife Jeanette Teague, of Enid, four children, Amanda Teague, of Bartlesville, Theresa Teague and spouse Michael Johnson, of Enid, Joshua Teague, of Hutch, Kansas, and Caleb and spouse Lyndsey Teague, of Enid; nine grandchildren, Justice Seyler, Acey Seyler, Alex Robertson, Keegan and Genisis Teague, Scarlet Teague, and expecting one more, Kada Johnson; two sisters, Linda Walker and Kris Moore; and two brothers, Danny and Bill Teague.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frankine Lee and Veronica Rose, two grandchildren Kayvaughn and Aubrianna Toles and one brother, John Teague

Memorials may be made in his honor to the American Liver Foundation with Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home serving as custodian of the funds.
