The funeral for Albert L. Semrad, 81-year-old Enid resident, is 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2022, in the Henninger-Hinson Chapel. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery.

December 4, 1940 - March 16, 2022

The funeral service for Albert L. Semrad, 81 year-old Enid resident will be 11:00AM Wednesday, March 23, 2022 in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Damon Burpo officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery.

Albert was born December 4, 1940 in Enid to Albert and I' Lee (Bryant) Semrad and died suddenly, Wednesday, March 16, 2022 in St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. He attended Garber schools and graduated from Garber High School. On June 10, 1961 he married Barbara Gash and the couple made their home in Enid. Albert worked on the Semrad Farm, Fertilizer, and Feed. He later worked with the Champlin Refinery until it's closing. He then worked with the William's Brothers Pipeline. After his retirement, he began driving for Lyft and Uber which he really enjoyed.

He was a charter member of St. Gregory's Catholic Church. He enjoyed shooting his guns, and watching murder mysteries on the BBC channel.

He is survived by his son Gregory Semrad and wife Chrysi of Prairie Grove, AK, daughters Patricia Joseph of Riverview, FLA. and Janise Watkins and husband Dana of Enid. 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a brother Mike Semrad , a sister Rebecca Holder and husband Tom, all of Hennessey. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, son Christopher, and brother David Semrad.
