Lilly Georgie Rasco
1934 - November 9, 2023

Lilly Georgie Rasco passed away at home in Denver, at the age of 89, on Nov 9, 2023. She was born in Stamford, TX, in 1934 to proud Czech immigrants, Jim and Mary Neuman, who settled in Tuxedo, TX.

She attended Tuxedo and Stamford schools, graduated from Hardin Simmons University in 1956, and was married to her late husband, Royce L. Rasco.

In 1965 they settled in Enid, where Royce worked for Union Equity Grain Exchange. Lilly taught piano lessons, volunteered in her community and her church (FBC), and raised her family. They were married for 60 years, until Royce's death in Dec 2015. All of their siblings predeceased them. For the last five years, Lilly lived with her daughter, Robin, in Denver, CO.

Lilly loved her family, friends, ancestral research, reading, teaching, and learning technology. Her life demonstrated the gifts of learning, how to maintain life-long friendships, and love for animals.

Lilly Rasco is survived by her children Royce Lee Rasco, Jr. of Enid; Georgie Rasco and her wife Sally Blevins of Oklahoma City; and Robin Rasco, of Denver, CO. Mother loved her grandchildren, Miranda Rikli (partner Charlie) and Royce Lee Rasco III (Trey), and her two great-grandchildren, Ziah Faw Faw and Kennedy Himes, all of Enid, and a special mention to her beloved niece, Linda Baker of Fort Worth, TX, and to Patty Pendergraft, Quannah Harris, and Cassie Himes, all of Enid. Each meant so much to her.

Lilly was remembered at a graveside service on Dec 1, 2023, at Enid Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to RSVP of Enid, 602 S. Van Buren, Enid, OK 73703. Remembrances can be sent to Rasco, P.O. Box 669, Enid OK, 73702.
