Carol Ann Moody

The Memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Carol Ann Moody, 72, of Enid will be held Saturday, June 22nd at 10:00 A.M. in the Brown-Cummings Chapel with Pastor Charlie Newman officiating. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery. Complete cremation care and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.
Carol was born June 30, 1951, to Bernice Buth in Colorado Springs, Colorado and passed from this life June 12, 2024, in Enid, Oklahoma.
She was raised and educated in Colorado Springs. After schooling she worked as a waitress. She married Bill David Moody Sr. November 11, 1967, in Colorado Springs, from this union came four children. The couple moved to Borger, Texas in 1969 and later to Okeene, Oklahoma in 1978 and was a homemaker for many years. In 1999 she became an Office Manager for an appraisal company. In 2007 she opened Wheat Capital Appraisals until her retirement in 2010. She enjoyed camping, creating arts and crafts, reading, volunteering on the election board, crocheting and spending time with her family, being a Mother, Nana and GG to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and taking care of her husband brought her great joy.
She is survived by her husband Bill Moody Sr. of the home, four children, Kelli Looney and husband Mike, Bill Moody Jr. and wife Heather, Scott Moody and wife Emily, Corri Denton and husband Joseph and her grandchildren, Chris, Rachel, Coby, Devon, Ethan, Cody, Kyle, Cole, Caden, and Ashton and nine great grandchildren. Sister-in-law Lois Moody, and various nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made in her honor to the Enid SPCA with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
