Celebration of Life Service for Charlene Miles, 71 of Enid, will be Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 2:00 pm in Awakening The Fire Ministries with Pastor Scott Betts officiating. A private family burial will be at a later date in Enid Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 at Anderson-Burris. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Charlene was born on September 5, 1951, in Enid, Oklahoma to Marion and Bertha Rembert Schultz, and passed away on September 18, 2022, at her home with her family by her side.
She grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School. On August 1, 1981, Charlene married Michael Miles in Enid, where they made their home. They owned and operated Miles Termite and Pest Control. Charlene was an active member of the Awakening The Fire Ministries and help start the church's food pantry. She had a giving heart. Charlene enjoyed sewing, crafting, and collecting jewelry. She had a passion for the Lord and was a fervent prayer warrior.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 half-brothers, Carl and Robert Schultz.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; children, Jason Fritzler, Kimberly Bryant, and Melisa Martin; five grandchildren; brother Jerry Schultz; other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to OCSRI-Tulsa Cancer Research.
