August 12, 1960 - November 20, 2021

The Services celebrating and honoring the life of Ricky Mayberry, 61, of Lahoma, will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday November 24, 2021, in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to the care and direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Ricky was born August 12, 1960, to Buford (Buddy) Mayberry and Dorothy May Mayberry in Enid, Oklahoma and passed from this life November 20, 2021, at his home in Lahoma, Oklahoma.

Ricky was raised and educated in Enid and graduated from Enid High School in 1978. Ricky then went on to work at Howell Tire Company for a brief period before going to work at Cummins Construction in as a Diesel Mechanic a heavy machine operator, truck driver, as well as a steam engine operator he retired from in 2012 after 35 years. Ricky also helped many local farmers and friends over the years by hauling hay.

Ricky enjoyed collecting John Deere Tractors and antiques, going to auctions and car shows, hunting and fishing, watching John Wayne westerns & Gunsmoke.

He is survived by daughters, Louetta Germundson and husband Levi, Sarah Hanlin and husband Bob, Lindsay Mayberry; four grandchildren, Braden and Blake Germundson, Serenity Hicks, and Grayson Bowling one sister, Sharon Edwards-Roxas and husband Michael; and one brother, Randy Mayberry.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jimmy.
