Daniel "Dan" Luskey of Enid, OK was called home to Heaven surrounded by family, October 14, 2023 in Oklahoma City.
Dan was born November 16, 1961 at Chanute AFB in Rantoul, IL to Ed and Joyce Luskey. In 1965 the family was transferred to Vance AFB in Enid, OK.
Dan attended St. Joe's in Enid and later Enid Public Schools, graduating from EHS in 1980. He attended NOC Tonkawa and OSU in Stillwater. He loved his O-State football!
Dan worked for Northrop at Vance on the flight line, Ruth's Christian Bookstore, and with EPS as a para professional and crossing guard. After leaving Northrop, he became involved in youth ministry, his true calling, at several Enid churches. His youth ministry took him across the state for various summer camps and VBS weeks as Krusader Man and various other characters. Most recently he was pastoring his church family at Sonrise Fellowship in Enid. Dan was the travel agent for many, many trips to Heaven! His passion was sharing about Jesus with anyone, especially youth.
Dan will be missed by many. He is proceeded by his father Ed, and infant brother Patrick. He is survived by his mother Joyce, brothers Mike (Brenda), Ed (Brenda), nephews Sean, Andrew, nieces Sydney, Cailey, Riley and grand- nephew Liam.
We thank the community of Enid for their prayers and love for Dan.
Memorials can be made to Sonrise Fellowship of Enid with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
