Troy Looney
February 8, 1936 - August 29, 2022

The memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Troy Looney, 86, of Enid, will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday September 16, 2022 in the Enid Cemetery. Services and complete cremation care are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Troy was born February 8, 1936, to Cecil and Mable Sargent Looney in Ponca City, Oklahoma and passed from this life August 29, 2022, in Enid, Oklahoma. He was raised and educated in Fairfax, Ok. He joined the United States Army National Guard and was discharged January 1960. He married the love of his life Gracie Belle Rush May 23, 1959, in Hominy. The family moved throughout the state while he worked at various jobs. In 1973 the family moved to Billings where he began working at WB Johnston Elevator where he continued working as an operator. The couple moved to Enid in 2002 to be closer to their family. He enjoyed fishing with his fishing buddies Coe and David, and playing cards; especially pitch, listening to Willie Nelson, and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his daughters Pam Clark, of Okeene and Patty Leal, of Enid, one son, Mike Looney and wife Kelli, of Enid; four grandchildren, Brandon, Jeremy, Chris, and Rachel; nine great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Gracie Looney, one brother, William Simmons, and three sisters, June, Evelyn, and Gertrude.

Memorials may be made in his honor to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Dementia Division with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
