Virginia M. "Dee" (Ent) Jones Saturday, February 14th, 1931 - Monday, November 6th, 2023

A Graveside Service for Virginia M. "Dee" Jones, age 92, of Enid, will be 2:00 pm, Friday, November 10, 2023 at Enid Cemetery with Reverend Jim Edmison officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Virginia was born February 14, 1931 in McWillie, Oklahoma to Orville and Fern (Salladay) Ent, and passed away Monday, November 6, 2023 in Enid.

She married Robert Jones on September 13, 1947 in Garber, Oklahoma. She worked at Woodring Airport and was well known for her apple dumplings and cheeseburgers. Many times, the pilots would call in an order for her apple dumplings in the air so they would be ready when they landed. Following Bob's retirement, they enjoyed traveling to South Padre Island and many other places.

Virginia is survived by six children; three sons, Steve Jones and wife Yolanda, of Clinton; Stan Jones and wife Debi, of Wellington, KS; Scott Jones, of Enid; three daughters, Judy Harmon and husband Danny, of Enid; Janet Mick of Enid; and Norma George and husband Randy, of Enid; two sisters, Anna Galusha, of Enid, and Dixie Beckwith, of Cleo Springs; fifteen grandchildren; Angie, Aaron, Brett, Deran, Tara, Tiffany, Jenny, Melanie, Jason, Jordan, Jared, Gina, Amy, Chrissy, and Caitlin. Nineteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren also survive her, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jones; grandson, Deran Harmon, three brothers, and a sister.

Memorial contributions in Virginia's name may be made to the Harold Hamm Diabetes Foundation with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
