Carrie Dixon Jackson
March 12, 1930 - January 6, 2023

The homegoing services celebrating and honoring the life of Carrie Dixon Jackson, 92, of Enid will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday January 14, 2023, in the New Light Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Larry G. Featherstone officiating. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Carrie was born March 12, 1930, to Charlie and Lottie Ray Costello in Kingfisher, Oklahoma and passed from this life January 6, 2023, in Enid, Oklahoma.

She was raised and educated in Kingfisher graduating from Kingfisher High School with the class of 1948. She married Willie Jackson in 1952 and from this union came one son, Donald. She later married Nathanial Dixon and from this union came one daughter Lisa. After Nathanial's passing, she remarried Willie Jackson in 1984. She was a caregiver working at Northern Oklahoma Resource Center for twenty-eight years retiring in 1992. She was a member of New Light Missionary Baptist Church, where she was the Mother of the Church, The Eastern Star, and The Heroines of Jericho.

She is survived by her daughter Lisa Dixon Scott, of Enid; three grandchildren, Torence Jackson, K'Sean Anderson, and Shayla Coy; six great grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Willie Jackson and Nathanial Dixon; her son, Donald E. Jackson, and two grandchildren, Donald E. Jackson Jr. and Donita Jackson.
