August 29, 1952 - October 13, 2024

The graveside service for Brenda Sue Ford, 72 year-old former Carrier resident is 10:00AM Saturday, October 19, 2024 in the Enid Cemetery. Pastor Terry Immel will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Brenda was born August 29, 1952 to Claude and Pearl (Cravens) Jones and died Sunday, October 13, 2024 in St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.

She graduated from Carrier High School in 1970 where her basketball team won the state girls class A basketball championship. Brenda was awarded a basketball scholarship to Seminole Junior College where she graduated in 1972 with a physical education degree.

Brenda was married to Ronald Eugene Ford April 27, 2006. She worked at the Garfield County Court House and for Advance Food Company.

Brenda loved her family, sports, animals, and riding horses.

For the past one and a half years she has lived at Brookdale Assisted Living, where she enjoyed the many activities and most of all helping her friends there.

She is survived by her sister, Linda Immel and husband Terry of Phoenix, AZ. and two nephews, Edward Immel of Phoenix and Heath Immel and wife Angie of Columbia, MO.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, hers son Buddy Allen Brown, and her beloved husband Ronald Ford.

The family greatly appreciates the loving care shown to Brenda by the Staff of Brookdale Assisted Living.
