Monday, July 31st, 1950 - Tuesday, March 7th, 2023

A Celebration of Life service for Jim (Jimmy) Lee Collins, age 72, of Enid will be 2:00 pm, Monday, March 13, 2023 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Terry Chick officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 pm on Sunday, March 12th at the funeral home.

Jimmy was born July 31, 1950 in Enid, OK to Alvin and Jackie (Steel) Collins, and passed away at St Mary's Hospital after a short illness on March 7, 2023. He attended Enid High School and graduated 1968. He attended and graduated from Enid Business College. He worked for Coldirons, and then for AW Brueggemann Co. for over 40 years until he retired in June, 2020.

Jimmy's passion was the Railroad Museum and model railroads, He enjoyed working on his model railroad train lay out. He was a member of the Railroad Museum and Association for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends; working on his garden, tending to his goats, and going fishing.

He is survived by his brother, Larry Collins and wife Juanita, of Enid, OK; his niece, Jessica Collins of Enid, OK, his mom, Jackie Steel, of Enid, OK; half-brother, Brian Wilson of Enid, OK, half-sister, Marva Kay Schoonover; and half-brother, Terry Wilson; as well as numerous cousins, and his beloved cat, Roxie.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Alvin Collins and his grandparents, and aunts and uncles.

Memorial contributions in Jimmy's name may be made to the American Cancer Society with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
