Funeral services for Glenda Williams, age 88, of Marshall/ Douglas, will be Saturday, April 22, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel. Rev. Dennis Wistrom will officiate. Burial will follow in the Douglas Cemetery, Douglas. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Glenda was born July 28, 1917, in Marshall to Alfred and Mary Mae (Clark) Stoll and died April 19, 2006, at The Commons Methodist Care Center.
She graduated from the Marshall High School. She married Harold Ray Williams on May 3, 1944, in Hennessey. He preceded her in death April 15, 2006.
She was a member of the Evergreen Club and Douglas Christian Union Church.
She is survived by her son, Larry and his wife Theleta Williams of Marshall; one daughter, Dorothy Miller of Covington; four granddaughters, LoRae and her husband David Sterling, Tammy and her husband Travis Buller, both of Marshall, Wendy and her husband Patrick Dinnin of Enid, and Angie Miller of Oklahoma City; and five great-grandchildren; and one brother-in-law, Horace Williams of Enid.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold, and two sisters.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice Circle of Love or The Commons Methodist Care Center with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.
