Tima Sue Krausse, age 67, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born June 9, 1947 in Emporia, Kansas to John J. And Betty (Mercer) Heusner.

Tima Married David Krausse on June 24, 1972 in Liberal Kansas. They moved to Guthrie in 1991 and previously lived in Houston, Texas and Kansas City, Kansas.

Tima attended school and graduated from high school in Liberal, Kansas. She attended Kansas State and majored in Elementary Education. She taught 6th grade at Guthrie Upper Elementary School and retired in 2008. She loved her students and acted as protector and advocate on their behalf. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church. Tima loved Bible Studies and church.

Survivors include her 3 children, John Krausse of Guthrie, Trina Krausse of Ft. Worth, TX, Suzanne Hamman and husband Trevor of Oklahoma City; 3 siblings, John Wayne Heusner and wife Barbara of San Diego, CA, Jan Atchley and husband Keith of Waukesha, WI and Barbara Morgan and husband Randy of Gainesville, TX; she is also survived by 4 nieces and 4 nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband David on February 22, 1992.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the First Southern Baptist Church in Guthrie with Pastor John Godby officiating. Interment will follow at Douglas Union cemetery in Douglas, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
