Douglas Union Cemetery


John L. Adams, 88, died late Sunday night after a two year illness.

He was born in Indiana in 1860 and made the run into the Cherokee Stril and settled on a claim near Douglas. He lived on the claim until 1919 when he moved to Enid. He was the Son of David and Elizabeth LAKE ADAMS

He was a member of the Christian Union Church of Douglas and a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Mary of the home; three sons, Orla of Wichita, Kan. Tyree and Vorie both of Douglas. a sister, Julie Lee of Indianapolis, Ind.
