A memorial service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Salem United Methodist Church in Drummond, Oklahoma, with the Rev. Kris Mayberry officiating. Visitation with the family will be held in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service.

Charlaine Mitzi Rodenberg was born January 26, 1933, on a farm south of Hunter, to Charley and Carrie Anita (Frazier) Miller. She attended Hunter High School, and upon graduation, attended Enid Business College.

After graduation, she worked as a bookkeeper for C. E. Loomis Furniture Store in Enid, Oklahoma. In 1958, she met David Rodenberg, of Drummond, and they were married on May 21, 1960. They made their home on the family farm southeast of Drummond. Of this union, two children, Mark David Rodenberg and Lori Ann Rodenberg Copenhaver were born.

She served on many church committees, including being chairperson of the Trustee Committee, and treasurer of the United Methodist Women. She sang many cantatas in the church choir, and was always ready to work if something needed to be done.

She also served as the Drummond Precinct Chairperson for the Garfield County Election Board until her retirement. Mitzi was preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Anita Miller, and her brothers, Everett, Tommy, and Jon Miller.

Mitzi is survived by her husband, David Rodenberg, of Drummond. Children, Mark and wife Carole Rodenberg of Drummond, and Lori and husband Kevin Copenhaver of Enid; six grandchildren, the Rev. Shannon Rodenberg, Fairland; Shelby and husband Adam Hughes, Stillwater; Skyler Rodenberg, Stillwater; and Scott and wife McKenna Rodenberg, Drummond; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Salem United Methodist Church, PO Box 120, Drummond, OK 73735, where Mitzi served faithfully for over 58 years.
