A Celebration of Life Service for Sergio Jimenez, 23, Drummond, will be Saturday, Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. in the Drummond High School Gymnasium under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Family friends Michael Nichols and Tim Earl will officiate. A public burial will immediately follow at Del Norte Cemetery, south of Drummond.

Sergio was born Sept. 21, 1996 in Guymon, Okla., and passed away unexpectedly Nov. 2, 2019 at his home. He spent much of his life in Drummond, where he graduated high school in 2016 and lived until his time of death. He ran track and cross country and was a friend to everyone. Sergio always had a big, bright smile to share. You could often find Sergio running, spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle, playing video games or hanging out with friends. Sergio was well-known for his incredible work ethic and positive attitude. He started working at Henry's Brake Room in Drummond while still in high school and continued to help out there when they needed him.

He was a bright spot at the restaurant and in the community, greeting customers with his big, bright grin. At the time of his death, Sergio worked for Hobbs Plumbing, Piping and Fabrication as a plumbing apprentice and welder's helper. Sergio was loved by many, touching the lives of everyone around him with his kind heart and huge smile. He was loving, caring and happy and always there to help when someone needed a hand. Sergio will be remembered as a loving son and brother and a loyal friend to many.

He is survived by his mother, Marisela Jimenez; father, Ramiro Jimenez, Sr.; brothers Ramiro, Jr., Marcos and Israel; and sisters Isabel and Annabel Jimenez, all of Drummond and several other family members.

He was preceded in death by one grandfather, Miguel Hernandez
