ENID - The funeral for Bryan Lee Hayes, 50, of Caddo Mills, Texas, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at Salem United Methodist Church, Drum-mond. Pastor Carl Sterling will officiate. Burial will be in Del Norte Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Army National Guard. Arrangements are by Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
He was born Aug. 24, 1959, in Fort Carson, Colo., to Fred and Jewell Hayes and died Monday, Jan. 11, 2010, in Dallas.
He was raised and educated in Drummond, graduating from Drummond High School. He enlisted in the Army in 1982 and was honorably discharged after eight years. He then became full-time active Army National Guard, retiring in March 2001, when he moved to Caddo Mills, Texas.
He married Debbie Dow April 25, 1983, in Drummond. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church of Caddo Mills, American Legion, Veterans of Foreigh Wars and Junkyard Dawgs Motorcycle Club.
Surviving are his wife, Debbie, of the home; one son, Ronnie Hayes of Caddo Mills; one daughter, Jennifer Hayes of Caddo Mills; his mother, Jewell Hayes of Drummond; one brother, Bart Hayes of Drummond; one sister, Brenda Hayes Walling of Ada; and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Salem Unied Methodist Church youth group.
