A family visitation will be held this evening, Sunday January 05, 2020 from 6:00 -8:00 P.M. in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings.

She was born May 11, 1926 to the Rev. William R. and Katherine French in Portland, Oregon and passed from this life on December 31, 2019 in Enid, Oklahoma.

Evangeline graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1948. On April 08, 1955 she married James H. Hane in Central, South Carolina. She excelled as an artist and musician and after teaching school at all levels, from grade school to college, she traveled extensively in Music Ministry with her husband. She became a homemaker, a Mom to three sons, as well as to numerous exchange students and college boys throughout her life on the family farm south of Drummond.

Evangeline accepted Christ as her Savior as a child and reflected that commitment all her years. She lived her life with the end always in mind, and persevered through illness and decline with grace and abundant hope.

She is survived by her sons, Bill Hane, and wife Brenda of Piedmont OK, Dave Hane, and wife Kim of Singapore, Jim Hane, and wife Pam of Drummond OK, and four grandchildren, Aaron, Andrew, Jonathan and Joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bob French, and her husband, James H. Hane.

Memorials in Evangeline's name may be made to the Hobe Sound Bible College Scholarship Fund with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

The service will be live streamed on the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Facebook page.
