Mrs. Harry Hackney, age 20, was fatally burned Saturday evening, as she was starting a fire to prepare supper. Mistaking gasoline for kerosene, an explosion followed. She leaves besides her husband, a year old baby daughter, and many other relatives. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Union Star church.

OBITUARY
Avis Arline Adams, daughter of Anthony and Delitha Adams, was born January 11, 1912, near Poturn, Kan., and departed this life October 1, 1932, near Ames, Okla., at the age of 20 years, 8 months and 19 days.
She lived in Kansas until 1930, at which time she came to Oklahoma, to live with her parents.
She was united in marriage to Harry Homer Hackney, April 11, 1931. To this union was born one daughter, Patricia Rose. She was united with the First Christian church in Herrington, Kan., in 1929.
She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, baby, mother, father, five sisters, ten brothers, two grandfathers, one grandmother, and a host of other relatives and friends. One brother preceded her in death.
She was a devoted wife and a loving mother. To know her was to love her.
Funeral services were held October 4, at the Union Star church, conducted by Rev. M.S. Litell, and the remains were laid to rest in the Del Norte cemetery.
