Valrie June Glaser
February 02, 1929 - March 22, 2019
A celebration of life for Valrie Glaser, 90, of Lahoma, will be 2:00p.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Zion Lutheran Church in Lahoma officiated by Martin Herzberg. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the service from 12:00p.m.-1:30p.m. Burial will follow in Del Norte Cemetery. Services are under direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Valrie June Glaser was born February 2, 1929 to Isam and Lena Unruh and passed away March 22, 2019. On March 19th, 1949 she married Clarence Glaser and together they had seven children. Valrie worked as a school cook at Lahoma Public School for many years and then worked at Kmart until her retirement. She enjoyed working out in her garden, roses were her favorite. She also enjoyed doing plastic canvas and crafting for her family. Valrie was a lifelong member of the Zion Lutheran Church and has been involved in the Ladies Aid Group at the church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren gave her great joy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Isam and Lena Unruh; her husband, Clarence Glaser; her two sons, Terry Lynn Glaser and Darrell Glaser; her brother, Wilbur "Pete" Unruh. She is survived by her five children, Ken Glaser and wife Melva, Rick Glaser and wife Louise, Allen Glaser, Randy Glaser and wife Samantha, and Vickie Seltenreich and husband Allen. 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Darlene Schulz and her brother, Kenneth Unruh and numerous other family members.
Memorials can be made to The National Kidney Foundation with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
