Covington Cemetery


ENID, Okla. — Funeral service for Sean C. Stopp, 43-year-old Covington resident, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel.

Sean wants everyone to come in casual clothes. Burial will follow in Covington Cemetery.

Sean was born July 23, 1969, in Tahlequah to Thomas and Joanne (George) Stopp and died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, in Enid.

In 1986, he graduated from Tahlequah High School.

He moved to Covington in 1999.

Sean worked for Advance Foods for five years. He then became a jailer in Garfield and Kay counties before working as ajob coach with DHS.

His clients loved him and he loved his job. Most recently, he was working at NORCE for the last two years.

Sean was a wrestler for over 20 years. His most popular character was Cy-5. He was a member of Sooner Pro Wrestling, UWE and Elote. He enjoyed acting, was involved in Gaslight Theatre and liked to sing, especially karaoke.

Sean loved his family and friends. He had a way of making someone feel like they were the most important person in the world. He touched many lives and will be dearly loved and greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brittany Stopp, maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.

Sean is survived by his wife, Joni Williams; four children, Brett Stopp, Sean “Cory” Stopp Jr., Savannah Phillips and Christian Williams; his parents; sister, Leila Brownlee; and countless other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given through the funeral home to the Sean Stopp Childrens Education Memorial Fund.
