Covington Cemetery


WAUKOMIS - Marie M. Stevison, 84, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010. She was born March 16, 1925, in Sparks, Okla., to John and Alta (Green) Lane.

She married W.G. "Pete" Stevison in 1939, in Sparks. She had lived in Waukomis , Okla., since 1974. She raised her family and worked as a caregiver until she retired. She also liked to play Bingo.

Survivors include four daughters, Betty Mock of Woodland, Colo., Barbara Mock, Phyllis Stephens and Pam Struble, all of Enid, Okla.; two sisters, Frances Burleson and Juanita Taylor of Salem, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete; one son, Johnny Stevison; and three daughters, Shirley Stevison, Anita Floyd and Sharon Marker.

A visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Danny Marney will officiate. Burial will be in Covington Cemetery .

Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Re-search Foundation, diabetes division, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
