Donald Hugh Scott died February 2, 2021, at the age of ninety-five. He was born to Delmer and Florence (Cutter) Scott on October 29, 1925. After graduating from Douglas High School, he farmed in the Douglas area for many years. He also worked at the Covington Sale Barn. He was an elder and member of Douglas Christian Union Church.
Donald is survived by his daughter, Donita Scott of Enid and brother, John Scott of Florida as well as several extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; two brothers and his wife, Betty.
A graveside service will be 2:00pm Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at the pavilion of Covington Cemetery. Reverend Robert Stewart will officiate. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Viewing is available 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 7, 2021, and 8:00am-8:00pm Monday, February 8, 2021, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given through the funeral home to Douglas Christian Union Church.
