Funeral services for Cheryl Ann Scott, 72, of Enid, will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021, in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tommy Donaldson officiating. Burial will follow in the Covington Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
Cheryl was born June 4, 1949, in Stockton, CA, to Leroy and Wilma Brown Lane and passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021, in Enid.
At the age of ten, she moved to Buffalo, OK, and later graduated from Buffalo High School. She spent most of her years after that living in the Covington area. She worked at DHS as a clerk. In her retirement years, Cheryl enjoyed dancing, cooking and spending time with her grandkids.
Cheryl is survived by her three sons, Brian, John and Neal; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Pam Singer, Teresa Lane, Marilyn Johnstone and Bev Lane; and a brother, Richard Lane. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and a grandson, Lloyd.
