DOUGLAS — Funeral for Betty Lou Schroeder Scott, 85-year-old Douglas resident, will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2012, in Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ted Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Covington Cemetery under direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
An only child, Betty Lou was born December 16, 1926, to Carl C. and Amy E. (Crews) Schroeder in Waukomis and died May 31, 2012, at The Commons in Enid.
She married Donald H. Scott on July 23, 1947. Betty Lou was a former music teacher and member of Douglas Christian Union Church, where she was the organist for many years. She performed for many weddings and funerals, was a housewife and did volunteer work.
