Covington Cemetery


The funeral service for Lloyd Gene Neundorf, 77, will be 3 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008, at the Covington Christian Church. Rev. Connie Schlarb will officiate. Burial will be in the Covington Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 6-7:30 p.m. today, February 1, 2008, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Lloyd was born September 5, 1930, to Fred Herman and Dorothy (Janssen) Neundorf in Garber, OK and died Wednesday, January 30, 2008, in Oklahoma City.

He was a graduate of Covington High School and he attended Oklahoma A&M.; On March 22, 1953, he married Carol Congdon in Enid, OK. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Covington school board, served as a member of FSA County Committee, a charter member of the Covington Lions Club, the Oklahoma/American Angus Association, the American Legion and served as elder and deacon of the Covington Christian Church. Lloyd was an avid OSU fan. He was a hard worker and loved his cattle. He loved his family dearly and looked forward to family gatherings.

He is survived by his wife, Carol, of the home; children, Lou Jean Holt and husband Ross, Cheri Lynn Henderson and husband Brent, Eddie Dean Neundorf and wife Brenda, and Carla Jo Henderson and husband Brian; seven grandchildren, Carrie and Courtnie Holt, Adam and Erin Henderson, Lauren Neundorf and Drew and Regan Henderson; sister, Betty Warner and husband Bill; and five niece and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made to the Covington Christian Church or charity of choice with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds. Condolences may be e-mailed to the family at ladusauevans@sud denlinkmail.com.
