Funeral services for Betty Lee Marshall, age 78, of Milford, NE will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 21, 2008 at Smith Memorial Chapel with Reverend William “Spook” Holloway of Oklahoma City, OK officiating. Burial will follow at Covington Cemetery, Covington, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie, OK.
Betty was born on August 27, 1929 in Oklahoma City to Brainard S. and Bernice (Christmas) Dougherty. She died February 16, 2008 in Milford, NE.
Betty married Edgar F. Marshall October 23, 1949 at Capital Hill United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City, OK. She was a homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed bowling and loved all dogs and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Edgar F. Marshall of the home, three sons Edgar S. Marshall and wife Deborah of Oklahoma City, Brainard Marshall and wife Tracey of Ceresco, NE, and Charles Marshall and wife Hettie of Oklahoma City, seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Betty is preceded in death by one granddaughter Vicky Marshall and one great-granddaughter Shelly Harris.
Visitation will be held at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home Wednesday until 8:00 p.m. Condolences may be emailed to smith-gallo@sbcglobal.net
