Covington Cemetery


Graveside services for Prudie Hunt, 83, Covington, will be at 2 PM Thursday in the Covington Cemetery with the Rev. Carlton Kjergaard officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hunt died Monday night in Huntington Beach, California, after a long illness. She was born April 26, 1897, in Harrison County, Iowa, and was married to Edward A. Hunt July 18, 1918. He preceded her in death in 1959.

Mrs. Hunt had lived in the Covington community since 1934. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Covington.

Her body will arrive in Enid at noon Wednesday and will lie in state at Henninger – Allen until noon Thursday.

Mrs. Hunt is survived by four nieces and a nephew, including Velma Dunsworth of Covington and Florence Donaghue of Enid; several great – nieces and nephews.
