Last rites for Ruth E. Hamlin, 67, Corona California, will be at the graveside in Covington Cemetery at 2 PM Monday, with the Rev. Mike Britton as the officiating minister.
Burial will be under the direction of the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.
The body will lie in state in the funeral home Sunday until noon Monday.
Mrs. Hamlin died late Tuesday in Corona. She was born May 12, 1912, in Ripley and was married to Orren Hamlin in Enid. He died in 1951.
Mrs. Hamlin had lived in the Covington area most of her life until moving to Corona eight years ago. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Covington and of the Christian Church in Covington.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jim (Melba) White of Corona; a brother, James M. Woods, Covington; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Gibson, Covington, Mrs. R. E. (Beulah) Hissom, Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Mrs. Lyle (Dottie) Harrington, Claremore and three grandchildren. Three brothers died earlier.
