Joan DIVER

Covington Cemetery


The funeral for Joan Diver, 68, of Covington, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Covington United Methodist Church. The Rev. Paulette Albright will officiate. Burial will be in Covington Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home.

She was born Feb. 5, 1937, in Ardmore to Ray and Winifred Mable Trexler Asbridge and died Friday, Feb. 3, 2006, at her home.

She worked for General Motors in Oklahoma City for 10 years.

Surviving are two sons, Jeff Diver of Covington and Randy Diver of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Annette Tooman of Covington and Ronda Diver Bateman of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Ron Asbridge of Salina, Kan., Max Asbridge of Denver and Gary Asbridge of Waco, Texas; one half-sister, Virginia Faughn of Kentucky; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, one brother and one half-brother.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love.
