October 17, 1876 - June 15, 1924
Mr. Samuel Cutter was born in DeCalb, Missouri, October 17, 1876, and died June 15, 1924, near Douglas, at the age of 47 years, eight months, 28 days. He moved to Kansas with his parents when a small boy where he lived until 1902 then came to Oklahoma and in 1903 was united in marriage to Clara E. Dubbs; to this union were born four daughters, Gladys, Irene and Naomi, the youngest dying in infancy.
He leaves a wife and three daughters, four brothers and two sisters. Mr. T. R. Cutter of Crescent, Oklahoma; Henry Cutter, Anaheim, California; Nathan and John Cutter of Douglas, Oklahoma; Mrs. William Johnston, Colorado Springs, Colorado. All were present at the funeral but one brother and sister.
He was converted in a local hospital at Enid and united with the Christian Union Church at Douglas, and was laid to rest in the Covington Cemetery.
